Ride Report: Jackson River Trail on July 7th

The weather could not have been more beautiful, with a blue sky and a shaded bike trail. Although the thermometer said it was in the low 90s, our July 7th ride was pleasant and seemingly cooler. Our total ride was 28 miles along tree lines and cliff facings. Could the weather be more beautiful on this ride? Well, maybe. This is a must-ride again in the early fall.

The pathway is one of the smoothest and best we have ridden, making the Jackson River Trail an outstanding ride.

A fallen tree did block our path at mid-ride. However, with his brute strength, Dick Elder moved the treetop and branches from the path which cleared the way for others.
